Control
Larvicide is applied to potential mosquito breeding grounds (stagnant water) to prevent larvae from maturing into adult stages.
- Application forms can vary to suit the situation: Sand granules, AM-Oil, BTI, liquid pesticides, etc.
- Kills adult mosquitoes during application in large open areas. DOES NOT provide long-term residual protection against adult mosquitoes.
- Chemical is applied by misting onto vegetation to create a barrier between mosquito resting areas and inhabited areas providing long term residual protection against adult mosquitoes.
